Why not book to speak with them first?
You told us in our 2011 patient survey that you wanted more telephone consultations. Work or other commitments meant you did not always have time to come into the surgery and sometimes you spent more time at the surgery than expected. If this is you, our new telephone service may be an option for you. Winter and New Year means a longer than normal wait for an appointment but because the telephone appointment system is relatively new, we are finding that there are plenty of available appointments.

You can make an appointment for the doctor to call you at a specified time from office or home. Many medical conditions can be resolved over the phone or we can take the first steps in diagnosing or treating the problem. If you need family planning advice, prescriptions or a long-term condition medication review we can help with this too. Speak to one of our receptionists for more information.

PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP
Our PPG has been working really hard this year to get itself up and running. It produced a successful patient survey to try and canvas the views of patients in general. It has deliberated on the results and come up with an action plan for the coming year.

The Surrey Docks PPG is currently open to all patients and we would encourage you to get involved if you can, even if you are not able to attend the meetings, so we can get make the group as representative as possible of our patients.
