Information for Patients

As part of the practice merger we will be making changes to our IT systems. When we do this, there will be an impact on some of the services we provide during the month of October. This leaflet is to give you an overview of how our services will be affected during this period:

We will have no access to our clinical system from Midday on Friday 20th October until the afternoon of Monday 23rd October.

Booking Routine Appointments: We are unable to add appointments to our clinical system until the after the IT merger. Should you need an appointment anytime after the 20th October, you will need to contact the surgery on the 24th October.

New Registrations: We will be unable to process any new registrations from the 9th October onwards. Any forms received after this date will be processed no later than Friday 27th October.

Online Access: We will be shutting off our online access service from Monday 9th October and it will be reactivated no later than the 27th October.

Repeat Prescriptions: If you are on regular medication please ensure that you order your prescription at least 4 days before you are due to run out. We will not be able to issue repeat prescriptions during the period 20th- 21st October.

Clinical Services: As we will have no access to our clinical system on these dates, we will be providing an emergency service only on the afternoon of the 20th October and all day on the 23rd October.

You will be able to have access to a GP either over the telephone or face to face for urgent problem during this time. Please contact reception in the usual way.
